I've been wanting to write a proper, full student visa breakdown for ages!

I wanted to tell you about the costs nobody warns you about, the rules that change depending on what you're studying, the things that catch couples completely off guard and honestly the emotional side of all of it that never makes it into any official guide.

Because when we went through the student visa process, i had to piece everything together from ten different places, none of them agreed with each other and by the end of it i still felt like i was missing something. That's the thing about the australian visa system: you can read everything available and still go in underprepared, because the gaps aren't in the information.
